The NYC Find Happiness Through Mindful Self -Actualization

Depression can be beaten back. To totally end it forever is rare. Educated peer groups often work as well and some cases better than standard therapy. Depression in NYC is severe and very common.This group will operate by concensus.People will be able to share not only the problems,but also solutions. Although I know much and have counseling experience, I wil not do all the talking.I will accept input from the membership in regards to this. So be prepared for intelligent and participation. I will try to keep meetings focused ,structured and productive.I will be asking participants to avoid side conversations,so that all members get a chance to be heard . Actual techniques of diminishing depression ,anxiety (including panic attacks) will hopefully be demonstrated.
Methods of finding contentment and happiness are also included,and EXPERIENCED
While discussions may be scholarly (bring a notepad),this is also a group that creates a warm open attitude.
No condescending conceits on my part.
Socializing and the experience of joy are definetly encouraged!
